LAHORE (Dunya News)— Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervez Rasheed on Monday said that the aroma of halwa puri in the streets of Lahore means that there isn’t any strike.

Speaking to the media, Pervez Rasheed said that the media should also show people in Lahore munching on halwa puri.

He affirmed that all the restaurants and shops selling food items like halwa puri, naan chanay, siri paye and nihari are open.

Puris are being deep fried and the aroma of halwa wafting in the streets means that the strike has failed in the city, said Pervez Rasheed.
