In Mandi Bahaudddin, protesters encircled the office and stoned a train en-route to Sargodha, injuring three passengers. The protesters also blocked the roads and burnt tires. They were protesting against power 18 hours regular outages. Police resorted to baton-charge to disperse the crowd.Residents of Kanchi stop also took to the streets with traders calling on the government to deal with the power crisis immediately. Protest was also held in Dera Ismail Khan where people staged a protest outside WAPDA office and chanted anti-government slogans.
