SC dismisses pleas against BoP scam recovery process

Supreme Court rejected the recovery pleas against the owners of Harris Steel Mills in Bank of Punjab scam, and ordered the return of the money in the decided way.A three-judge bench headed by Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the case against Harris Steel Mills owners including Shiekh Afzal and his brother Seth Yaqoob for the recovery of embezzled money today. Petitioners counsel argued that the paid money is more than the plundered. The BoP lawyer told the court that Mills owners have signed to pay the mark-up of the loan as well. The case has been adjourned till May 10.
