Lahore: Chief Secretary orders to keep lights, ACs off till noon

Chief Secretary Punjab has issued orders to keep 50percent lights of the government offices off including the air conditioners until 11:00pm.The energy conversion meeting held under the chair of Chief Secretary Nasir Khosa was attended by all the secretaries, IG Punjab, Commissioner Lahore, DCO and other officials. Interestingly, during the meeting the air conditioner was put off and windows of the meeting room were opened to curb the heat. The CS ordered to keep every third street light shut while the electric neon signs and bill boards would also remain shut.
