Summary No confidence motion was not rejected but was taken back after consultation, says chief JUI-F.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – Talking to the media on Saturday in Multan, Chief Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman said country is caught up in non serious politics and that the political situation should be reviewed collectively.
He further stated that the commission must give verdict regarding elections on the whole.
“One day Imran would say he doesn’t agree with himself either”, he said adding that the sit-ins have failed.
He said the government must be given ample time to formulate policies.
In response to a question he said that no confidence motion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Assembly was not rejected but was taken back after consultation.
Referring to the operation he said they didn’t support operation from day one as this war is a necessity for America and not us.
Terrorist organizations fulfill American needs, he added.
He condemned the lynching incident of the Christian couple and called for an immediate action.
He further said that dialogue is the only way to peace in the region.
Talking about the instatement of new Director General (DG) Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) he said these postings are matter of the routine and must not be considered unusual.
Maulana blamed Sindh government for the prevalent situation of Thar.
