A hot debate is on in the Senate on the renaming of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and killing of people in Abbotabad in police fire on Tuesday.The senate is meeting under the chairmanship of Farooq H Naek. Opposition registered its intense condemnation of the killing of innocent protesters who died of police fire the other day. ANP Senator Haji Adeel while talking to media said that the whole constitutional package would be affected if anyone of the clause were changed.Meanwhile mourning is being observed in Abbottabad, Mansehrah and Haripur against the killings of demonstrators who died as a result of police firing in Abbottabad the other day. The enraged protesters are still today on streets of Abbotabad and Mansehrah, as the FC contingents have been called in Abbottabad in view of worsening law and order situation. Complete shutter-down and wheel-jam strikes are being observed in Abbottabad and Haripur. The angry protesters erected hurdles by setting tyres ablaze near Mandian, Jab Pul, Supplai, Sarband Chawk and Lorry Adda and closed Karakoram Highway.The city management announced to close all educational institutions for three days and Hazarah University and all its campuses will remain closed for indefinite period.The funeral prayers for the killed yesterday would be offered today in Mansehra, Garhi Habibullah and Tehsil Balakot, after which, a protest rally would be convened in Mansehra.
