Multan: Official results of NA-149 by-election announced
Turnout in the NA-149 by-polls remained 29.36%, the ECP reported.
MULTAN (Web Desk) – Election Commission of Pakistan today (Friday) announced results of by-election in NA-149 constituency of Multan, Dunya News reported.
According to ECP, winning candidate Amir Dogar secured 52,321 votes while Makhdoom Javed Hashmi got 38,391 votes.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Dr Javed Siddiqui received only 6,326 votes.
A total of 341,257 voters were registered for the by-election, out of which 99,609 people exercised their right to vote while 688 votes were rejects due to various reasons.
