KARACHI (Dunya News) – Preparations for Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)’s rally scheduled for October 18 in Bagh-e-Jinnah near the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam have begun in Karachi. Several containers have been placed at the venue for security reasons. More than three thousand members of PPP will be performing duties to ensure security during the rally.
PPP’s chairman Bilawal Bhutto would address the party members on October 18 in Bagh-e-Jinnah in Karachi.
The preparations at the venue have already begun as containers have been placed and a stage is being installed. Some of the walls of Bagh-e-Jinnah have been demolished to build two new gates in order to ensure a secured entrance during the rally. More than 200 containers will be placed at the venue of the rally and as many as 3000 party members would be on duty to review security measures.
