MURREE: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced to turn Murree into a modern tourists’ spot, announcing projects worth billions of rupees. PM promised the residents of Murree an international standard hospital and university and also vowed to end the water shortage in the city.

Addressing the citizens of Murree today (Friday) after inspecting the under-construction projects of General Bus Stand and General Post Office, PM Nawaz Sharif announced to make Murree a modern tourists’ spot. He said that an international standard hospital will be built in Murree where people from Lahore and Karachi will come to have medical treatment. PM also ensured that projects to resolve the water shortage issue will be started on priority basis.

Strict security measures were observed on this occasion causing troubles for the locals and tourists. Shops were closed on the Mall Road while traffic was blocked.
