2 Lahore MNAs involved in Tahira Asif and Hendry Masih's murder: Imran Khan
Chairman PTI says no matter how much negotiations are held, he will not leave without resignation
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that 2 MNAs from Lahore and a police officers were involved in Muttahida Qaumi Movement s (MQM) MNA Tahira Asif and Minority MPA from Balochistan Hendry Masih s murder. "2 MNAs from Lahore and a police officer were involved in Hendry Masih and Tahira Asif s murder. I will reveal their names on Saturday", said Imran Khan.
Imran also said that no matter how many times negotiations are held, he will not leave without Prime Minister’s resignation. He said that though there is agreement on all other points, PTI will not call off the sit-in until Nawaz Sharif resigns. He said that he has got so habitual of sleeping in the container that he doesn t know how he will spend his evenings after calling the sit-in off.
Imran said that he received thousands of SMS during the protest and most of them asked me not to leave without PM’s resignations. “What should I call the people who have looted billions of rupees other than thieves”, asked Imran Khan. He said that he has no personal issues with Nawaz Sharif. “I am fighting against Nawaz Sharif’s mentality which is ruling this country”, he said. He said that poor people do not get justice in Pakistan.
“Had Shahbaz Sharif worked on Justice Manzoor’s report on floods, he would not have to stand in water wearing long shoes”, Imran said.
Chairman PTI said that Nawaz Sharif knows how much rigging he has done and that is why he is not ready to leave premiership of Pakistan for one month. “South African Prime Minister resigned because a ship had sunk but 100 people were shot in Model Town and 17 of them died but PM Nawaz did not resign”, he added.
Out of 84,000 votes checked in NA - 256, only 6,800 votes got verified.
"In NA - 258, Pakistan Muslim League (N) got the re-election but PTI s candidate couldn t get the same in NA - 258 from Election Tribunal", Imran Khan said.
Talking about rigging in NA - 124, Imran Khan quoted Pakistan People s Party s (PPP) Senator Aitzaz Ahsan s report. He said that counter-foils were missing from 37 of the bags in this constituency.
"Therefore, we want to get these elections examined again and we will not leave until Nawaz Sharif s resignation", Chairman PTI said.
Paying tribute to Quiad-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his death anniversary, Imran Khan said that Quiad-e-Azam wanted to build a modern democracy where institutions could function properly.
"If I will ever become the Prime Minister of Pakistan, I will allow you to protest. I will not fire bullets at you like these rulers", Imran said. "Policemen and Gullu Butt looted a poor man s shop in Model Town. Who will provide them justice if police is involved in loot" he questioned. Imran said that the best of Pakistan s brains are living outside country only because there is no merit here. "I gave ticket to the son of my biggest political enemy in Mianwali and he got the highest number of votes in Mianwali s history. This happened only because I gave the ticket on merit", he said.
