Pak Army continues rescue operation in flood-hit areas
Pakistan Army has rescued over 3000 people in its rescue operation.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Army is continuing its flood relief work in flood-hit areas across Punjab. Pakistan Army has successfully rescued over 3000 people in its flood rescue operation so far.
According to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army’s rescue operation is being carried out in the flood affected areas of Sialkot, Jehlum, Mandi Bahauddin,Gujranwala and Qadirabad. In a rescue operation in Bajwat and Chaprar near Sialkot, the army rescued as many as 500 people from the stormy flood waters. The ISPR claims to have employed 300 motorized boats, heavy vehicles and 5 helicopters in the relief and rescue operation. The army troops have been put on high alert in Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan to meet any emergency crisis situation caused by the rain disaster.
