Summary Ahsan Iqbal says no solution based on ego will be imposed on the nation
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Dialogue between Pakistan Muslim League – N (PMLN) and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) have not been successful. Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that it was sad to observe that dialogue was unsuccessful despite hard work.
While talking to press conference after the dialogue with the PTI, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said that PMLN did not accept the ‘Minus 1 formula’. He said that 3 out of PTI’s 6 points were hypothetical. He said that he has requested PTI to reconsider its position.
Ahsan Iqbal said that all political parties except PTI opposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation. He said that if PTI wanted to remove Nawaz Sharif only and not his government, it was a proof that they did not have a problem with the government, but with Nawaz Sharif only.
