Summary Government decides to go any lengths for negotiations but PM resignation not on the list
LAHORE: (Dunya News, Web Desk) – According to the government sources, Pakistan Muslim League (N) has adopted a comprehensive strategy for dialogue with the protesters. According to this strategy, the government will go to any lengths for negotiating with the protesters but the demand of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation will not be entertained.
Sources claim that negotiations will revolve around political issues and the government is ready to negotiate with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) about electoral reforms, reconstitution of Election Commission and rectification of election irregularities.
Government sources said that recommendations coming from the political leadership will be welcomed and disrespect of public mandate will not be tolerated. The sources also told Dunya News that force will not be used against the marchers and protesters.
