Judges appointments should be made transparently: Nawaz

PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif said that the appointments of judges in superior judiciary should be made in a transparent manner. He stressed that these appointments should be made by the independent judicial commission after the approval of the parliament. He was talking to a 13-member delegation of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) at Raiwind. The delegation discussed situation of the country, judicial package and appointment of judges. The delegation said that appointment of judges should not be made on political basis. Nawaz Sharif said that the appointments should not be made by an individual.
