LHC issues inquiry report on suspended DSP Imran Babar

Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued inquiry report about the suspension of DSP Imran Babar. It is said in the report that the DSP cannot prove his statement that senior officials pressurized him to release the dacoits. The report said that Session Judge Lahore Zawar Hussain investigated the issue on orders of LHC in which Imran Babars point of view was not proved. Session judge investigated the issue for three days and also registered the stamenets of two SPs. In the inquiry, Imran Babar could not present any witness. LHC has sent the report to the IG Punjab Tariq Salim Dogar. Suspended DSP had filed the petition in which he maintained that he arrested two dacoits but SP CIA Umar Wirk and SP City Zeeshan Asghar put pressure on him to release them.
