PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak said on Thursday that the number of ‘Azadi March’ participants is much higher than the target, adding that convoys from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province have also left for Islamabad to join the march, Dunya News reported.
Khattak said that participants’ enthusiasm is praise worthy.
The central convoy comprising hundreds of vehicles left from Motorway Toll Plaza under Saifullah Niazi’s leadership this afternoon.

Another convoy headed by Khattak himself also left around the afternoon. This convoy is supposed to merge with the central convoy upon reaching Mardan.
Prior to the departure, CM Khattak said while addressing the media that the number of people participating in the long march is much more than the target.
