Summary Nawaz Sharif praised Zardari's role to 'strengthen democracy'.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday phoned former president Asif Ali Zardari and discussed the ongoing political situation, Dunya News reported.
According to Zardari’s spokesperson Farhatullah Babar, Prime Minister phoned Zardari and both leaders discussed the ongoing political situation.
Sources said that Nawaz Sharif praised Zardari’s role to ‘strengthen democracy’.
Prime Minister said that the democracy was attained as result of several sacrifices and that the issues should be resolved amicably.
Prime Minister said that the democracy, constitution and the supremacy of the parliament will be defended in any case.
