Summary I will be the first to take a bullet in my chest if martial law gets imposed: Javed Hashmi
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has decided to handover the resignations of the assembly members to the party leadership. In a Parliamentary Party meeting, presided over by Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi, it has been decided that all the MNAs belonging to the party will submit their resignations with Chairman PTI Imran Khan.
Vice President PTI Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that cheap tactics by the government will not be able to stop PTI’s peaceful march. Javed Hashmi said that he will be the first man to take the bullet in his chest if martial law gets imposed.
While talking to media in Islamabad, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK) Pervez Khattak said that Imran Khan has not mentioned dissolution of KPK provincial government. He said that ‘decisive battle’ will be fought in Islamabad on August 14.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf has started preparing for the long march, which is now being termed as ‘Azadi March’ by the party. A special train consisting of 10 bogies has been requested by the PTI from Pakistan Railways.
President PTI Sindh Nadir Akmal Leghari has announced that a Motorcycle rally will be started on 8th of August from Sindh which will later join the central march.
PTI President Peshawar Yasin Khalil informed that a rally comprising more than 1000 cars and motorbikes will leave Peshawar to join the central march in Islamabad.
PTI’s long march is scheduled to take place on August 14, 2014.
