Operation Zarb-e-Azb continues, 2 soldiers and 7 Uzbek militants killed in clash

Summary Datta Khel, Boya and Deegan have been cleared

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Zarb-e-Azb operation ‎by the Pakistan Army in North Waziristan continues as a clash erupts between soldiers and militants killing 7 ‎Uzbek militants whereas 2 soldiers were also martyred in Datta Khel area, additionally landmine factories were ‎seized in the surrounding areas of Mirali.


ISPR reported that the army had found 75 rocket launchers, landmines and several suicide jackets from the ‎Shahbaz Khel area in Mirali, adding that the loss of lives took place during the clearance operation targeting ‎Uzbek militant hideouts.‎


ISPR stated that the army has cleared the areas of Deegan, Datta Khel and Boya successfully. Army martyrs were ‎identified as ‘naib subedar’ Mashkoor and ‘lance subedar’ Zaheer.
