Summary "PML-N government does not face any threats from any long march" - PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News, Web Desk) – Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the government is ready to address oppositions’ concerns. He said that Pakistan Muslim League (N) government is ready for dialogue with the opposition.

In an interview to state radio today (Sunday), Prime Minister said that the PML-N government does not feel threatened by any long march. PM regretted that certain opposition parties were following the path of conflict, which, he said, wasn’t good for the country at this particular juncture. However, Nawaz Sharif said that the people are well aware of the agenda of these politicians and will never allow them to succeed in their designs.

“Political problems are sorted out through dialogue and understanding”, said the Prime Minister. He said that protests and long marches will not be of any help. Prime Minister said that judiciary and various other institutions are independent and opposition must place its trust in those institutions.

PM Nawaz Sharif said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb has entered its decisive stages and the entire nation is standing at the back of its Army. “Opposition parties must also support the operation and the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)”, said PMLN leader. PM advised the opposition to play a positive role in the greater interest of the country.

President PML-N told that the government is taking measures to improve the load shedding situation in the country and that several new power generation projects have been taken by the government in this regard during the current tenure.
