Summary Met office predicts extremely hot weather in most plain parts of the country for next few days.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The scorching heat in most plain areas of the country has affected routine life and forced citizens to stay at homes.
Extremely hot weather has gripped most plain areas of Punjab including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan and Bahawalpur divisions.
Severely hot weather also grips many parts of Balochistan including Turbat and Sibi division whereas use of cold drinks has increased due to the heat.
Met Office has predicted that the heat wave would continue to grip most plain areas of the country for next few days.
Intensity of heat is expected to rise in Sindh. Rising temperature was recorded in various cities of the province including Jacobabad, Nawabshah, Larkana, and Sukkur. However, temperature is likely to drop in the province from Monday.
Meanwhile, Met Office has predicted rain with thunderstorm in some areas of Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Malakand and Hazara Division.
