DSP has been suspended while five police officials arrested for publicly beating suspects on Wednesday in Chiniot city of Punjab and case has also been registered against them. IG police has ordered to take action against the officials under Anti-Terrorist Act. Bhawana police arrested Bhutto Jappa and Muhammad Iqbal for complaints against the police and the officials then tortured the victims publicly due to which they fell unconscious. The footage of the incident was shown repeatedly on media, after which SHO, sub inspector Ubaidullah, constables Wajid, Sarfaraz and Riaz were arrested after registering a case against them. DSP Rana Ikaram was suspended.
