CRC agrees to transfer management, payment of national debts to CCI

Parliaments committee for constitutional reforms (CRC) agreed to handover the management and payment of national debts to Council of Common Interests (CCI). The committee, met at the Parliament House with Senator Raza Rabbani in chair, reviewed the suggestions by the small provinces on the subject of provincial autonomy and reviewed the Articles 166 and 167 of the Constitution. Nationalist and regional parties are demanding to transfer most of the departments from federation to the provinces. The committee decided to continue its deliberations on the issue to recommend its suggestions to the Parliament with consensus.
