Summary

All parties have been agreed to appoint the judges through Parliamentary and Judicial Commission. However, the matter of chief justices appointment who took oath under PCO remained unsettled. In the meeting of Parliaments Constitutional Reforms Committee led by its Chairman Raza Rabbani, it is decided that four, four members of government and opposition will be included in the parliamentary commission while judicial commission led by the Chief Justice will send three names to the prime minister to form a penal for judges appointment. The PM will send one name to parliamentary commission after the approval.
