The law ministry has forwarded the summary regarding the judges appointment to the Prime Minister for ratification.Once again, a request was made in the summary to promote LHC Justice Saqib Nisar as an apex court judge. Federal Minister for parliamentary affairs Dr Babar Awan, while talking to Dunya News said that the summary was made in light of the suggestions put forwarded by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. He said that after the summary approval by the PM House, the President would issue notification in this regard.He maintained that the constitutional and legal formalities would be considered regarding the judges appointment on the vacant seats.Replying to a question, he said that request has been made to fill up only two vacant seats in the apex court.
