Constitutional Reforms Committee has agreed to appoint the judges as per Charter of Democracy (CoD), Dunya News reported on Wednesday. Under the decision, appointments of all the judges including Chief Justice of Pakistan would be made by a Parliamentary Commission. In the meeting of Constitutional Reforms Committee under the chairmanship of Mian Raza Rabbani in Islamabad, the proposed Parliamentary Commission would be comprised on eight members. The commission will consist of equal members from government and opposition side. It was also decided in the meeting that SC judges would be appointed as per CoD. Article 177 of the Constitution was also reviewed in the meeting.
