It has been approved in the Corps Commanders meeting to start military exercises to further enhance the capabilities of Pak Army. Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani chaired the Corps Commanders meeting at the General Headquarters on Wednesday. Overall security situation of the country, ongoing military operation in South Waziristan, security situation at countrys eastern and western borders and other regional issues were discussed in the meeting. The Corps Commanders meeting was synchronized with the conclusion of Army War Game (Azm-e-Nau II); in which through a hardcore professional discourse, response to existing as well as emerging threats was exhaustively evaluated. The forum expressed its satisfaction at the evolution of a comprehensive and integrated response which it termed a part of the armys eternal vigilance process.
