Federal Cabinet has decided to introduce 3-year budget system and present next budget before May 2011. Giving a briefing after a meeting chaired by PM Gilani, Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the budget would be presented in the National Assembly (NA) then it would be forwarded to department concerned. He said that 1.385 million tones stock of sugar is available in the country and 1.2 million tones sugar would be imported till June 2010. He said that wheat is available in the country in large quantity.
