KARACHI (Dunya News) The rehabilitation work at the second track was comparatively slower and only two damaged train compartments have been removed from the track.
Only one inland-bound train could leave Karachi so far, it was reported.
Down track was cleared six hours the blast. All the trains from Karachi to other destinations remained suspended. Shalimar and Hazara Express, which were to have left at 6am, remained stalled. The Awam express, however, left after one-hour delay.
Railways officials informed that the damaged track would be restored by today evening. The case against the blast was filed in the Steal Town Police Station. Tuesday night blast resulted in derailment and over-turning of seven bogies.
