Summary Weather system would break the prevailing dry spell in the country.

 

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted rain with snowfall over the hills during the first week of February.

A Met Office spokesman said in Islamabad today (Friday) that a weather system is likely to approach Pakistan in next couple of days that would break the prevailing dry spell in the country.

The spokesman said scattered rain with snowfall over the hills is expected in Balochistan from this evening to Sunday.

He said wide spread rain is also expected in upper Punjab‚ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir from tomorrow (Saturday) evening to Monday.

Snowfall is also expected over the hills of Murree‚ upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the period, he added. 

Heavy snowfall may also occur over the hills of Giliyat and Neelam Valley during this week.
