ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has held a meeting with PM Nawaz in Islamabad on Thursday.
During the meeting at PM House, the officials discussed the law and order situation of the country along with other key issues.
The meeting was attended by former senator professor Khursheed Ahmed, Liaqat Baloch and other members of Jamaat-e-Islami.
The meeting also discussed the future course of action over Taliban and other militant groups. The leaders also talked about the committee formed to hold dialogue with extremist groups.
Meanwhile, PM Nawaz said the government is utilizing all its resources to protect people and defend the country.
Nawaz urged the political parties to come on the same page to resolve the political issues.
He expressed the hope that the issue of terrorism will be solved through talks.
