Faisalabad: Court withdraws case against Rehman

Faisalabads Special Central Court has acquitted Interior Minister Rehman Malik in a case regarding misusage of powers after the FIA withdrew its allegations in this regard.During the course of hearing, FIA told the court that it was withdrawing the case as no evidence was found regarding the power misusage accusations on Rehman. Upon this, the court withdrew the case.Talking to media after the hearing, Rehman assured that the situation would be brought under control within few days .He said that he was going to Karachi on PM and Presidents advice. He said that Army was a national institution and it would be called in whenever the need arose.
