As many as nine people including three US marines and three children were killed while 15 others injured when a bomb hit a security forces convoy. According to police, the security forces convoy was targeted while it was crossing by a girls school at Balambut.Resultantly, three US marines, three students and a passerby got killed. Lower Dir DPO Mumtaz Zareen said the blast was remote-controlled and planted alongside the road.The injured include some five security personnel and journalists. The eyewitnesses said that the blast was ensued by firing. The President and PM strongly condemned the incident.
