Karachi: Prominent personalities, families awarded free electricity for life
The recipients include family of slain SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam.
KARACHI: (Dunya News) - KESC, on its 100th anniversary celebration, has announced the company will provide free electricity to Karachi’s 25 prominent personalities and their families as requested by Governor Sindh Ishratul Ibad. The company has also been renamed to ‘K Electric’.
The recipients of the award include families of slain SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam, Moeen Akhtar, Jehangir Khan, Mohammad Yousaf, Abdul Sattar Eidhi, Akhtar Hameed Khan, Dr Adeeb Rizvi, Dr Sher Shah Syed, Hakim Mohammad Saeed, John Eliah, Mahdi Hassan, Zia Mohayuddin and Hanif Mohammed.
As part of rebranding process, the company has been renamed to K-Electric.
