The owner of the disputed plaza, Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullaha is also a defaulter of the Property and excise tax office. The office of Excise and taxation Punjab has informed that the Sanaullaha never paid a penny in tax for his plaza.According to the record of the Excise and taxation office the covered area of the plaza is 7,000 feet. The four story plaza is jointly owned by Sanaullah and his wife. In the basement Abdul Quyoum Butt and Aga Nayer are the occupants, while Azam Tarar and Qasim Javaid were on ground floor occupant. The first floor of the plaza is being used by Sanaullah himself. The second and third floors of the building are vacant.A tax amount of Rs 61,931 is due on the plaza owner. Sanaullaha has taken several stances on the plaza. Initially the law minister said that this plaza was being used by himself and not for commercial purposes, while according to the record of the Excise office at least 4 tenants are using the plaza.CM Punjab constituted a committee to investigate the legality of the plaza.Sanaullaha was speaking to Dunya news where he conveyed his thanks to the Dunya news for informing him about the notification. He said that he did not receive any notification from the excise department. He also said that if any other tax is pending please let me know.He also said that I was not born in the lap of Mian Amir Mahmood and I have achieved my position after political struggle. Sanaullah said that he is use to of such allegations.Lawyer Aftab speaking to dunya news said that a person like Sanaullah should not be given any ministry.
