LONDON (Web Desk) - Muttahida Qaumi Movemenet Leader (MQM) Altaf Hussain on Thursday issued two more points on the issue of high treason trial against former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf.

He asked that “If Gen. Pervez Musharraf is a traitor then why did the PM and Ministers take oath from him? Did the Federal Ministers bath Ganges and Jamna that exonerated them from article 6?”

After the completion of General Elections 2008 on 18th Feb 2008, Yousuf Raza Gilani took oath as the Prime Minister of Pakistan from General (retd) Pervez Musharraf on 25th March 2008.

“Here I have a question, that those who today are declaring Gen. Pervez Musharraf a traitor and the only accused to be tried under article 6, then why did they take oath from him then? Do they think that they enjoy immunity from article 6 in the manner as if they have bathed in Ganges and Jamna.” Altaf Hussain said in a statement.
