Shah welcomes appointments of COAS, CJCSC
Lt. Gen Raheel Sharif has been appointed as army chief and Lt. Gen Rashid Mehmood as CJCSC today.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Leader of the Opposition Khurshid Shah has welcomed the appointments of new army chief and chairman joint chiefs of staff committee.
In a statement issued on Wednesday‚ Khurshid Shah congratulated Lt. General Raheel Sharif and Lt. General Rashid Mehmood for their new appointments.
He also expressed the confidence that they will work with devotion for protection of geographical borders of the country as well as tackling other challenges faced by the country.
