Taliban leader Hakeemullah Mehsud sustained minor injuries instead of being killed in yesterdays drone attack that hit a house and a seminary Gariom, South Wairistan, official sources said.The Taliban denied the reports about the killing of their chief on Thursday in the abovesaid drone attack; however the official sources confirmed the reports about the injuries being sustained by the TTP leader. At least ten militants were killed while eight others including the TTP chief Hakeemullah Mehsud injured as a drone hit a house and seminary at South Waziristan.The US drone fired two missiles at a house of one Yaqoob and a nearby seminary at a bordering village Gariom of South Waziristan, killing ten people and injuring Hakeemullah Mehsud, the current Taliban leader among eight others. The locals retrieved the injured from under the debris and shifted them to the hospital; however, the presence of foreigners among the dead has not been ascertained so far.Reportedly, the targeted compound was used to be a seminary.The said area is reportedly a militants stronghold from where almost all the locals have been migrated.
