Summary Says the government and the Opposition are holding consultations on new NAB Chairman.

LAHORE: (Dunya News) - Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has said that his party does not want to politicise the matter of appointment of NAB chief.

Talking to newsmen at Lahore airport on Friday, Khurshid Shah said that both the government and the opposition were holding consultations on the name of four personalities who enjoy good reputation.

The opposition leader said he held five meetings with the Prime Minister on the matter and will hold more meetings to bring an uncontroversial figure in the NAB.

Responding to a question, Khurshid Shah said that new the new army chief should be appointed on seniority basis.

He said that privatization would create more unemployment in the country whereas the masses were already facing a severe inflation.

Khurshid Shah said that media shows political affiliations of the terrorists because nobody was ‘muhajir’ in the country while criminals had only one identification that they were just criminals.

He urged to adopt a national approach to tackle the challenges faced by the country.
