Summary Criminal activities continue despite Rangers' massive targeted operation in the city.
KARACHI: Students of NED University of Engineering and Technology were deprived of their cash and belongings at gunpoint in another incident of campus bus hold-up in Karachi today (Friday).
There were more than 50 students aboard when three unidentified gunmen on motorcycle stopped the vehicle in Nazimabad no. 2 area.
After storming into the bus, the outlaws held the students hostage at gunpoint and took away their valuables, including their cell phones, cash and other belongings.
Later, the students protested against the law enforcement agencies due to detonating law and order situation in the city.
A similar incident took place in September when around 50 male and female students of University of Karachi were looted in broad daylight on their way to the varsity after five armed men intercepted the varsity’s bus on Bacha Khan Flyover in Banaras, Orangi Town.
