On the issue of terrorism‚ Sartaj Aziz stressed that military means alone do not suffice to defeat terrorism.
He underlined the need for evolving a multi-dimensional strategy that included dialogue‚ economic opportunities‚ resolution of long-standing political disputes and hope and justice.
The adviser noted that disarmament and non-proliferation mutually reinforce each other and are essential to ensuring international peace and security.
