The fresh wave of violence which has engulfed Lyari since Monday night still prevails in the area. After the killings, Karachi police have arrested 53 people in raids in different areas. After recent violence and clash between armed gangs in Lyari and adjacent areas, police raided different areas like Baghdadi, Sadar Town and Usman Town and arrested many suspected people. Police told that the arrested persons are being investigated about their relations with armed groups who instigated violence in Lyari. More police have been provided to Lyari town to control the violent incidents.
