Prime Minister has asked the US to hand over drone technology to Pak Army for its more effective use. The Premier stated these views during a meeting with a delegation comprising US Senators who called on him in Islamabad on Friday, Dunya News reported.The PM maintained that Pakistans economy has been greatly affected by war on terror and hoped that the US operation would not exceed from the Afghan bordering areas.The war against terror, Pak-US bilateral ties and situation resulted by drone attacks inside Pakistan was discussed during the meeting.Earlier, while briefing the media, McCain ruled out any intention of launching army operation inside the country, and called to address Pakistans reservation over drone attacks.He, however, noted that Pakistan and US were getting along well.McCain observed that success in Afghanistan hinged on stability in Pakistan. He expressed concern over harassment the US citizens being put to in the country.Meanwhile, Senator Leeberman said that Pakistanis have mistaken the Kerry-Lugar Bill, which was infact a gift for them. He observed that the militaries of Pakistan and United States were working in harmony, adding that decisions were not imposed on it.
