Holbrooke to visit Af-Pak next week

Special US envoy Richard Holbrooke would visit Pakistan and Afghanistan next week.Holbrooke would take up the regional situation and security with Pakistans Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Afghan counterpart Spanta Rangeen Dadfur during his meetings with them.Earlier, the envoy would also visit Abu Dhabi where he would meet special representatives of different countries to take stock of the preparations of Afghan Conference scheduled to be held on January 28 in London.According to envoys spokesman, Holbrooke would discuss the Afghan Conference with Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
