KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Quami Movement will hold protest demonstration outside Karachi Press Club at 3:00pm today (Friday) against its workers’ arrest.
Several MQM workers have been detained during ongoing targeted operation against criminals in the city.
MQM Coordination Committee has appealed to the workers to register a peaceful protest against the ‘state oppression.’
Earlier on Thursday, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain said that 1992-like operation has been launched against his party.
He urged MQM workers to prepare themselves mentally and physically to confront the government’s action with fortitude.
Now they have started targeting MQM again under the pretext of ‘Targeted Operation’, he added.
He deplored that PPP has always started pogrom whenever they came to power.
