Summary Protests erupted after arrest of former MPA Nadeem Hashmi in murder case of two policemen.
KARACHI (Web Desk) - Violence erupted in various cities of Sindh today [Wednesday] after the arrest of former member Sindh Assembly Nadeem Hashmi belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement in the murder case of two police personnel.
Our Karachi representative says that people took to streets and forced the traders and schools to close down businesses in the city.
The transport alliance has also announced to keep the transport off the roads in the city on Wednesday. Incidents of violence have been reported from Hyderabad‚ Sukkur‚ Mirpur Khas and Tandu Allah Yar.
Meanwhile‚ Pakistan Rangers in its crackdown in various parts of the Karachi today arrested twelve criminals and removed close circuit cameras installed by them.
According to a spokesman of the Rangers‚ raids were conducted in North Karachi‚ Saddar‚ Ranchore Line‚ Ghas Mandi‚ Salar Compound‚ North Nazimabad and PNT Colony.
