Summary Taliban prepare list of 4,752 prisoners, including foreigners, for seeking their release.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – According to official sources, an important breakthrough has taken place regarding talks between the government and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. 

It has been learnt that government has released six TTP activists accused of different crimes, while the Taliban have released two FC officials who had been kidnapped from Balochistan on March 12, 2012.

The released TTP activists belonging from South Waziristan, include Ismail, Sohail, Ayaz, Aya Khan, Pirzada and Farmanullah.

The released persons have reached South Waziristan where they were received by the TTP leaders.

According to the sources, Taliban have prepared a list of 4,752 native and foreign prisoners detained in different jails of Pakistan.

According to the list, total 4752 TTP activists were detained in different jails including, 958 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 1191 in Sindh, 782 in Punjab, 870 in Balochistan and 951 in FATA.
