No loadshedding on 9th and 10th Muharram: Pepco

Despite the electricity shortfall facing the country, there would be no loadshedding on 9th and 10th of Muharamul Harram, the power distribution companies have announced on Sunday, Dunya News reported.According to Pepco authorities, the shortfall has reached 3500megawatts due to shortage in release of water which was caused by the desilting drive across the country.Resultantly, announced and unannounced power outages continue across the country as six hours loadshedding in urban and more than eight hours in rural areas has been taking place.The current power crisis is likely to prevail for the next three weeks.
