Summary PPP leader Sharjeel Memon has said that there is no provision in law to appoint interim nazim.
HYDERABAD (Dunya News) - Talking to media at the Circuit House in Hyderabad, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon categorically rejected the demand of appointment of interim nazims in Karachi and Hyderabad.
He said that if MQM demand is accepted then Jamaat-e-Islami can also ask to appoint Namat Ullah Khan as Karachi nazim.
Sharjeel Memon said that there is no provision in law to appoint interim district nazim. He also issued directions to demolish 100 shops illegally constructed over nullah in Hyderabad.
