Summary Sartaj Aziz will hold talks with Afghan leaders for improving relations between the two countries.
KABUL (Web Desk) - Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz arrived in Kabul today on official visit to Kabul.
During his stay, he will hold talks with Afghan leadership on pending trade agreement and trans-regional energy projects.
Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jillani is accompanying Sartaj Aziz.
Foreign Office Spokesman Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry said Pakistan supports peace and reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
He said Pakistan favours intra Afghan dialogue which is imperative for lasting peace in that country. He said peace in Afghanistan is in the best interest of Pakistan and the region.
